Performers Academy Success Stories-The Original Performers Academy - Orange County, CA

Tyler Foden
Tyler Foden has booked a national pilot that has been picked up for the fall season.  The pilot is entitled  Surviving Jack and stars Christopher Meloni  of Law & Order fame.  Tyler started his career here at The Performer's Academy.  His first films were the "Airbuddies" franchise.  Tyler is an amazing young talent who will have a long career in the business.

Aiden Yagiz booked the lead in a feature film, "Tiago".  This is the first booking for this young man and to land a lead in a film is a really good thing!  Congrats Aiden.

Niko Alexander is a very busy young actor.  Niko auditions several times weekly and just booked another commercial - a Domino's spot - and while on the set - found out his co-star was another Performer's Academy student - Kelly Lazarus.
Kelly Lazarus had a starring role on Rizoli & Isles and just completed a Domino's commercial with Niko Alexander!  Small world!

Muuhammed Ali (yes his real name) and Gracie Largent book the lead in the film "Discarded" - These are two incredibly talented young actors!  Congrats!

Summer Camp 2012 @The Performers Academy

Summer Camp 2012
Woo-hoo!  Another year and we are READY for Summer Camp!

New, fun & original musicals this year!
$185 per Week!
What’s New?

Brittany Peltier is our Director of FUN!   Joining her is Peggy Deming Bills who comes with many years of theatre and musical theatre experience, set design, costumes and more!  Brittany and Peggy have worked together for many years and will bring creativity, laughter, song and dance to this year’s camp.  Brianne Costa and Alyssa Jensen are on board as assistants.

How does it work?

Campers can come as early as 8:30 AM and enjoy a light breakfast. We provide bagels and/or muffins, cream cheese, fruit, juices and fresh water.   Camp begins at 9:00 with games, songs and activities to break the ice and allow everyone to get to know each other.  All activities are designed to build confidence and self-esteem.  In one week, campers will get to cast, block and perform a musical on Friday for parents, family & friends.  It’s amazing what they learn in just 5 days!  Campers are given tote bags for their scripts and personal effects as well as a journal for notes and names and address of friends they have met in camp!

What about lunch?

Campers can bring their lunch and we do have refrigerators on site.  The local diner next door provides a kid-friendly menu where the campers can get healthy foods like a fresh turkey sandwich, or hamburgers/cheeseburgers, fries, pancakes, grilled cheese or chicken fingers and a drink for $5.00

Snacks?

We have snacks, juice, and water that is available throughout the day.  Bathroom facilities are on-site.  If your child has any food allergies, we need to know at time of enrollment.

After Care?

We do have after-hour care available for those that need it.  Camp ends at 3:00 and after care is available until 5:00 for $15 per day.

Roles:

Camp is designed to make everyone feel special and give everyone the opportunity to shine.  There is no experience necessary to participate in camp.  Camp is a safe creative place for children to express their creativity and imagination.  Since many of the plays and adapted by Brittany & Peggy, they will be sure that EVERY child has a part.

Our Gift to You:

All campers get a one week certificate to try our regularly scheduled classes here at The Perfomer’s Academy FREE!  Your child can participate in our stellar acting classes taught by real film directors writers and producers from Los Angeles.  They can enjoy workshops in Acting:  TV Commercials, Scene Study, Acting for TV & Film, Cold Reading, Monologue, Vocal Classes, Improvisation, Group Singing, Guitar, and Hip Hop!

Friday Nite – It’s SHOW TIME:

Campers stay with us all day on Friday.  At 3:00, we journey right next door and have a pizza party, play games and have some fun.  Then preparation for the evening show begins.  All campers will get their hair and make-up applied, get into full costume and get ready for the show.  Parents return at 6:00 ready to experience THE SHOW!

The Performer's Academy:

Is a wonderful facility whose teaching staff come with amazing resumes.  All of our coaches work in the entertainment industry every day of their lives.   They have bonified resumes on imdb.com (who's who of the entertainment industry site).  They are film directors, producers, writers and working actors.  We have an amazing vortex of very qualified and talented instructors sharing their knowledge and love for the arts with your children.

Campers, take advantage of your free week of classes and get to experience everything we have to offer at The Performers Academy.
